For almost a decade now the MAGA Republicans keep throwing slow fat pitches to the middle of the plate for the Democrats to hit out of the park and the Democrats just let them float by.
It's pathetic, Trump could pull a gun out and blow John Robert's head off 10 seconds after getting sworn in again as President (and with Trump's current mental state there's a non-zero chance that could actually happen) and they would want to make sure that they had polled and focus grouped it before they said anything.
I actually am hoping that Trump will arrest Biden and all the other top Democrats who of course will show up for the inauguration to show that the "system works" and they're good sports blah blah blah (please let Merrick Garland be there as well) right after getting sworn in. Would serve them right.
Of course there is also a non-zero percent chance of that happening as well.
And the Democrats are pretty much completely silent. They could cripple the incoming administration before they even take office (it's what the Republicans would do and what they have done in the past) but absolutely nothing.

It is pretty messed up that Biden is extending every courtesy Trump refused him in 2020. Hard to fathom the danger that is Trump and even the Dems stand around and do nothing. Biden is still the president. He could be signing executive actions right now. He could force background checks on all of Trump's picks. He could force the release of Gaetz's investigation. But he does nothing.
