In 1983 Terri McCauley was murdered in Sioux City. Thomas Popp has been extradited from Washington to stand trial in her murder.

Barbara Lenz disappeared in 1989. Her body has never been found, but her former boyfriend Robert Davis will stand trial for her murder.

It's stellar to see investigators stick after these cases. The McCauley case I am not overly familiar with, but the Lenz case stuck out because her body was never found and that one got a lot of publicity. McCauley was Native American and her case got some push due to the efforts to the longstanding neglect in crimes against women in the Native American community.
