It's a "no class" term...one that shouldn't be used in "mixed" company...it is bar room talk. If that (bar room talk) is the new normal for America, then I would say it is more evidence of the dummying down of America. Yes, there is some faux outrage here.....but the point is, Mr. Trump needs to put a filter on it. He's acting crass, common and he's better than that....as any POTUS candidate should be.
"Are we still doing phrasing?" - Sterling ArcherDonald Trump can be as offensive as he wants and defenders will always crawl out from under the wall boards.
As he said it the phrase was clearly meant to offend. The fact that people use the word or phrasing doesn't mean it's not offensive.
Donald Trump could say Bernie Sanders tried to "Jew" him out of a tax break and his followers would continue goose stepping right along.
malls...as I am particularly fond of saying..."The masses are asses!" I chose to remain above "the common" crowd, I guess.Yep, why would we want someone common who isn't politically correct all the time? Been working great so far.
yes, I am one of them and yes. remember I said he needs to just call her the "C" word and be done with it.Donald Trump can be as offensive as he wants and defenders will always crawl out from under the wall boards.

I don't mind someone being politically incorrect at times...as a matter of fact I find it refreshing at times. I'd just like it to be coupled with intelligence/wisdom/integrity. He comes up short in those departments.Yep, why would we want someone common who isn't politically correct all the time? Been working great so far.
except he's worth billions. and he can build a beautiful wall and make mexico pay for it. and he has hot women all around.I don't mind someone being politically incorrect at times...as a matter of fact I find it refreshing at times. he's got hot women around...props.except he's worth billions. and he can build a beautiful wall and make mexico pay for it. and he has hot women all around.
That would just be Trump being Trump. What you see is what you get. Would you rather have a guy who says it, or a guy who thinks it but lies to everyone about it?
he gains respect when he sticks it to illegal aliens and muzzies and the Chinese and the Saudi oil guys. of course, the Saudi oil guys install presidents here against our wishes, so they won't let it happen. Why does it have to be one or the other? I'd rather have a president who I can respect. Donald Trump isn't worthy of anyone's respect. He's a cow turd dressed like a man, and rather poorly at that.
Trump's supporters have been labeled as some of the more uneducated voters in this election cycle. And if you think about it... seems accurate.I don't mind someone being politically incorrect at times...as a matter of fact I find it refreshing at times. I say this because he has stated on a number of occasions things that are either impractical, illegal, or unconstitutional.
Yes... but Bernie hasn't got a chance at the nomination. Cruz or Rubio better hope Hillary can bring down Trump because it sure doesn't look like the GOP has anyone that will.So has Bernie Sanders.

I say this because he has stated on a number of occasions things that are either impractical, illegal, or unconstitutional. But it doesn't matter to his flock because most seem generally mad at politics in DC. I agree that things are dysfunctional, but his suggestions on ways to fix things can't be accomplished in the ways he's proposing.
This is why I believe the "establishment" GOP are terrified about his potential nomination. It will set the Party back for a very long time. Now Hillary is FAR from a great candidate, but Indees will never vote for Trump because his proposals are not attainable. Voting for him insures madness and Supreme Court rulings on constitutionality.
Cruz will alienate everyone except the Tea Party type(and those famous Iowa evangelicals). What a mess for the GOP.
Remember the big event a few weeks ago where all the Republican candidates went in front of an influential Jewish group and Trump started off talking about all the tough negotiators in the room? Like Jews have some innate ability to make good business deals. One of the other candidates mentioned he'd watched Schindler's List the night before. I think Kasich made some stupid comments about Jews being great friends due to some mystical quality all Jews have.Donald Trump could say Bernie Sanders tried to "Jew" him out of a tax break and his followers would continue goose stepping right along. He's a racist, misogynistic, bigoted, small minded, self-centered, undereducated, foul-mouthed cretin who has done nothing but fail upward his entire life. The fact that he is even a legitimate candidate for President makes the United States look pathetic.

Trump is the pathway to a Hillary Clinton presidency
I'm registered as a GOP for THAT very reason. The republican caucuses are way more interesting because the Party has many more zealots than the Dems. It's just my little attempt to make sure the GOP has the weakest candidate possible.I've said before, I'm seriously considering registering as a Republican just to caucus for him for this very reason, except for the fact that I'd be in a room with a bunch of actual Trump supporters. I wouldn't be able to hide my derision, and I'd probably legitimately be in danger from those angry, stupid, occasionally violent dregs of society.
Ward Cleaver and Miss Manners left the building decades ago, if you never noticed. Anything goes on TV and radio today and you expect politicians to not talk to the common folk like common folk at a campaign rally? It's a "no class" term...one that shouldn't be used in "mixed" company...it is bar room talk. This whole time I thought it was a compliment.
I think MSNBC is under new management that is intentionally trying to move away from so much left leaning commentary to more unopinionated news. For my money, if they are going to do this, then need to stop focusing so much on just Washington politics. I'm going to need news from the rest of the world too if they aren't going to feed me my republican bashing diet. Covering only politics without the commentary is boring.Yeah, this does wreak a little of sympathy seeking. Reminds me of the GOP debate when they pouted that the questions were so unfair.
In reality, speaking specifically about NBC and their cable outlets, it appears to me they have moved a little "right" in their coverage this last few months. Then again... there hasn't been a whole lot of drama on the Dem side, so there's a lot less to talk about.
To be fair, getting butt hurt over schlonged makes a lot more sense logistically. This reminds me of the niggardly debate we had on here some time back. Perfectly acceptable word that some people got all butt hurt about because it sounds like a different word.

What makes the U.S. look pathetic is that we elected the America-hating Obama not only once (which we could have said was a mistake) but twice. The fact that he is even a legitimate candidate for President makes the United States look pathetic.
Married her. You know how it work. Not since you met her?
