Andre Woolridge was a top 20 recruit out of high school. Yes, he transferred to Iowa after his freshman year. The point is that Iowa has had guys ranked that high as recruits, just not often.

According to 247Sports, Iowa has not had a 5 star recruit in this century. They list the top 70 ranked recruits, some of which are very surprising (JR Angle @ #10).
The list is ranked by their ratings, I assume. and the good news is that #8 is Owen Freeman, the big coming in next year. Dasonte Bowen is #16 and Dix is #20.
To be honest, given the ranking of some of the guys, their ratings are suspect at best.

Hell, according to 247 they have 3 of the top 5 players in the 2022 class......60% of the top 5!!!!!!!!
