My seeding prediction

If Iowa wins out reg season and wins BTT then certain 1 seed.
Reg season win out and BTT tourney final possible 1 seed depending on other teams. If KU and OK win out and meet in B12 final they both get 1. Nova in assuming win out and Big east champion. Wild card is ACC Champ.
1 reg season loss and B1G Champ see above scenario.
Reg season loss and no tourney win and Iowa gets a 2 seed.
Just the thought of Iowa getting a 1 seed this late in season is pretty cool.

How about this Tony, I predicted in another thread in the lounge we could have 30 wins by the time we get to Chicago for the Sweet 16.

Crazy stuff. I know right.

Probably see us losing 2 more games though. One regular season yet and one in the conf. tourney. The only thing that makes me leery is that we still have not proven we can close out close games. The last three games that were close, ISU, Maryland, and Indiana, we found a way to lose these games. Doesn't mean we are going to lose in future close games, but something to watch moving forward. Maybe we will just have to win everyone by 10 pts or more.

I would agree with most of what you said. However, if Iowa wins B1G outright they won't need to do much in the BTT...maybe win that first game and get to semifinals. Winning the conference will do most of the work.

It's just as likely for Iowa/Maryland to have dual #1's as it is for KU/OU.
[edit] What I mean to say is that it is certainly possible for those duo's to destroy the opposition for the rest of the year and be so indistinguishable from each other that it's impossible to determine which is actually the better team. But it would take a near "win-out" scenario for that to happen, imo.
