Here are my two present juniors who I'd like to see transfer to Iowa for their last year:

1) Jameel Warney 6'8" 255 PF from Stony Brook: He played against IOWA in NIT run 2012-13 year. Scored 17 on Iowa. Fran recruited him as a larger Basabe clone. Better scorer/ shooter than Basabe. Rebounds well. 3 years of American East Conference BB. Academic status to graduation: Unknown.

2) Shawn Long 6'9" 245 PF/C from U of LA Lafayette: Three years of double double stats (Points/ Reb) for a Sun Belt conference team that will never see the NCAA tournament or get major TV exposure. Can shoot the three ball occasionally. Athletic and strong. Shot blocker. General studies major.

I don't see much upside to grad transfers unless we get thin on talent. we are good because these kids have grown as a team.

Trolling the Iowa board again clown? You are pathetic

I bet Fran bank's both actually, as he has hinted.

Next year is the Woody, Gesell, Uthoff, and Jok show.

After that, just build the young guys back up again, Uhl has a jumpstart.

Weird, looking ahead and the next 2 seasons, each of them is going to be VASTLY different from the other.

Once next years senior class is gone, who knows what is gonna happen.

We are definitely going to be small though next year without another big. Other than Woody, who is going to bang down low?
