Name two movies most posters haven’t seen but should.

Two classic silent films that will still hold up for most people -

The General (Buster Keaton)
The Big Parade - WW1 film you will never forget.

The Groomsmen
She’s The One
The Brothers McMullen

Ed Burns makes some pretty good low budget family/friend movies

Seraphim Falls - Liam Neeson, Pierce Brosnan in a post Civil War revenge/chase film that turns into a weird art film at the end. Plus, a good friend of mine smacks Angie Harmon and burns her alive!

Big Night - Tony Shalhoub, Stanley Tucci as brothers in the 50s struggling to run an authentic Italian restaurant. Mini Driver, Isabella Rossellini, Ian Holm, Allison Janney round out the cast. Hands down the best food-movie ever.

Fandango - Kevin Costner and his group of friends road trip after college graduation in 1971 for one last "privilege of youth." If you haven't seen it, you really should.
Big night is a great movie. It should be in contention for best food movie, but I am not sure it wins the prize. Others in contention should include Chef, Jiro Dreams of Sushi (best foodporn/food documentary in my opinion) and the Hundred Foot Journey

A few movies from around 1990

Big man on campus (Bob Maluga version)
People under the stairs.

And one for good measure -
Who’s Harry Crumb - surprised how many people haven’t seen this John Candy classic.
Big Man on Campus was great for a crappy film. Had the guy from How I Got into College in it. Another decent film from that era

Eat, Drink, Man, Woman is also a great food movie. The remake in (mostly) English, Tortilla Soup, isn’t good at all.

Can I name a third one? Especially since a few posters are naming movies that I thought everybody had seen?
Thank you.

"The Stunt Man."

Das Boot

The Blues Brothers

After Hours - Scorcese’s “cult” film. Dark comedy with an ensemble cast, including Cheech & Chong. Vastly underrated.

Maybe everyone has already seen these, or perhaps they’re too young to even have heard of them. I dunno.
