Nate Stanley Lost This Game

G

There is nothing wrong with critiquing the performance of an individual who has been given especial privileges for performing said task. In fact, the use of the term "grow up assholes" is the least mature thing I have seen in this thread, so perhaps you should try looking in the mirror before casting your stones. Pussy
Very nice immature response. You guys outa quit while you're behind.

Guys, time to chill and regroup! I don't know how many of you played QB in college, but I would expect very few. From my experience doing so, no member on any fb team takes greater personal responsibility for team failure than the QB - you replay the game over and over and over. My best guess is that this is NS. This I do know about the Iowa coaching staff, they play to win. If NS is starting and continues to play, he provides the best chance of winning. I assure you that he/they must recover to be competitive for next week and that it must be more quickly than we are capable. Too much emotion in any endeavor becomes toxic - they get it.

What should be the process?
Why throw at the 3?
Nobody feels worse than Nate. The Lions defense put pressure on him all day and I do not think he was comfortable all day in the pocket. Three sacks and numerous hurries. Jackson played poorly at tackle, three penalties and he gave up two sacks. Crowd noise is tougher than everyone thinks. Been to HV and that place gets loud.

Hopefully he comes back next week.

I don't blame a 20-year-old kid for losing a college football game. I blame a coaching staff for not recognizing that the kid was struggling badly, and for not having a backup prepared, when a "game-manager" level QB probably wins that game easily for us.

Stanley says he doesn’t drink and doesn’t go to parties and goes to bed early. I suggest maybe loosening up a little. The guy is obviously wound too tight.
