I believe today is the deadline to opt into the National Duals. Currently, Oklahoma State, North Carolina State, Ohio State and UNI have accepted so far. Are we expecting the Hawks to join?

They don’t care about helping grow the sports. Carl want just wants championships and he’s doing a good job at it.

I think it has more to do with every P.State guy who is varsity is expected to win amost all the time and Carl doesn't want his kids to be ashamed.

There is definitely something to this. On FRL, CP was asked what “AB is doing this year” and he said “I don’t know if we’re going to see him this year…. unfortunately” then quickly moved on from the question.

And there’s your answer, they’re basically Oklahoma boosters. This is an OSU showcase and the suckers dove right in.

Isn't the PAYCOM CEO the money-man who drove DT's hire? Major booster sponsors the event and guarantees the prize money.... Winner (likely PSU) gets enough to pay for their travel ... Major booster sells broadcast rights to ESPN for a few million $$ ... Major booster has more $$ to invest in Okie State NIL ... sounds like an easy formula to convince PSU to NOT attend.


This is why PSU isn't going, why should they fund raise for Ok St? You guys can if you like but Cael isn't going to chip in.

Rarely saw DT compete outside of team trials and World/Olympics either. Think he had a couple exhibitions is all outside of those events in the last several years. Granted he blew out a knee in one of those other events.

Edit- I don’t know the testing protocols and whether either of them truly benefit by being out of the testing pool in the “offseason”

Not a bad area - was there a few years ago to see nephews wrestle in Tulsa nationals. A lot of bars and restaurants near the BOK center. Everything a quick Uber away.
