Who was the highest NBA draft pick in Hawkeye history? Keegan's projected to go top ten, some even say top 5, so I was wondering if any other Hawks from the past have been drafted that high. Going back to the 80s, I don't think so, but I don't know much about the history before that other than that Ronnie Lester was first round and the 69-70 team was great.

Hopefully Keegan is an NBA star. At very least he will be good defender/shooter/versatile guy even
if he never becomes a star.

I was thinking which college/NBA player Keegan reminds me....I came up with josh Hart the 6'6 guard/forward out of Villanova...guy was a winner and did it all for Villanova when they won the National Title. Keegan taller, less of a ball handler, but Keegan is the straw stirring the drink and I think he'll only improve his ball handling/passing when he gets to NBA and has more upside than Josh Hart...and Hart is pretty decent NBA player.

Theres a ton of guys in the nba that have varying levels of similarity to Keegan.

Mikal Bridges, Nick Batum and Morris Brothers all come to my mind.

High end ceiling for Keegan would be like Jason Tatum lite but not sure he's got quite enough explosiveness to get there.

Hes also got the potential to become an elite defender.

At minimum hes a solid starter because of his defensive versatility and 3pt shooting.
