It has been more than a decade since I’ve been to a national tournament. I remember in Omaha and Des Moines it was really easy to find people selling tickets outside the arena. With most tickets going digital I would assume that has changed at more recent nationals? I’ve got a ticket in the Iowa section but didn’t know how hard it would be to find more outside the arena. All the prices I’ve seen on Stubhub and SeatGeek are crazy.

Prices on SeatGeek and StubHub will drop the closer you get to the event. It's hard to say how many paper tickets there are anymore, but I think the scalpers use those sites, and will start cutting their losses in the days leading up.

We have some rooms available in our group block. Rooms are over 50% discounted from their normal rate. Just off the train line that runs directly to the arena. Lots of availability on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and rooms are getting limited for. Saturday.
