NCAA Stats - Iowa #3 in Total Defense

The Hawks have moved up this week to #3 in total defense and #3 in rush defense. Considering the LB injuries and shifts in the backfield, these stats are an even more impressive achievement. Phil deserves a raise!

Before the start of the PSU-Indy game a graphic was displayed on the difference between PSU's defense last versus this year. Last year the PSU defense finished the season ranked 14th. This year they are ranked much lower. Iowa should have a defensive advantage going into this match up.
