anyone know how much tickets cost? I figured you'd be able to look up pricing before they go on sale, but it doesn't appear so. thanks
I believe I paid around 500 for two 300 level seats to all three sessions.
The people coming to DSM from around the country are going to be surprised at how nice is DSM. Our downtown has grown, we've got about 15 new hotels and a fantastic restaurant selection for a metro of only half mil. Coming off all the publicity we've had with the Presidential campaign and then going quickly into the NCAA tournament gives us a chance to show the world Iowa is not all hay bales and cloven hooved beasts.
Agree 100%. Lived in Des Moines for the past 20 years and have worked downtown for 10 years. Amazing to see all of the transformation taking place downtown and around the metro. Downtown is as lively as it's ever been. I wish we could have gotten the new convention hotel in place before the tourney ... But it will be a great addition to the Iowa Events Center upon completion. The people coming to DSM from around the country are going to be surprised at how nice is DSM.
