Just a catch-all thread for interesting games because it seems there isn't one. ??

Duke (#9) losing to USF at half 15-33.
6-23 shooting (0-5 3pt).
Wonder if this holds. USF 6-6 record with losses to UConn, SC, TCU

It’s hard to stay consistent

Gotta say, that "double intentional foul" call giving USF 4 free throws and possession is one of the most extreme penalties I've seen called in a game. Like a double technical. That killed the Duke momentum swing.
*USF not as bad as their record might indicate.

Later today:
#21 Nebraska vs. #17 Georgia Tech
#7 USC vs. #4 UConn
#14 WV (10-1) vs Colorado (9-2)

No and maybe getting better. S Carolina only beat them by 11ish. I’ve taken a little bit more measured approach to that UNI game now. I mean, we did win.

So we’ve got things to work on, most do

*The only loss thus far for Kansas (10-1) was to Iowa.
They are down 13 points to Baylor (10-2) at half.

*Next five games for #23 Nebraska (including GT right now):
#17 Georgia Tech
#1 UCLA
#7 USC
PSU
#15 MSU

*ISU down 10 to OkSU at half. Freeee Falllin...

Looking forward to USC v. UConn tonight. Hopefully USC can keep up, but I definitely have my doubts. The game could go a long way toward determining NPOY this season.

STATE is no longer adequate, which is a good thing.

Bueckers isn’t even the best player on her team. As remarkable as that UCONN machine was, it’s just as remarkable they haven’t won it all in 10 plus years. They have 5 star talent stacked on top of each other.

Hell they must have @least 20 women in the WNBA right now!

And their best player is a freshman…Geno can obviously still recruit, but now that other teams have caught up, he’s not quite the coaching genius he used to be.

Whoa-- didn't notice until just now that Colorado beat #15 West Virginia. I watched a few minutes and near the end of the 3rd--> CU was down -14 and pretty much done. I guess not!
Both teams now 10-2.

That was a hell of a game. UConn really made an impressive comeback. JuJu looked dominant early, and Paige looked pretty meh. JuJu dropped at least one three in Paige's face, and block at least one Paige 3 pt shot. It almost looked personal. Paige played better later, but she is nowhere near as good as the hype train wants her to be.

Hey at least George Karl said in an interview that not only will Juju be better then CC22, but he thinks she could end up playing in the NBA. YES he said NBA. I guess were smoking crack in the old folks home now eh George?

Yeah strange take…with that said PB is a terrific ball player, but she will not take over the league like CC did. I’d say juju might have a shot to come in and average close to 20 points just because of her height and length, and she is more explosive similar to CC, but neither of those girls have the floor vision passing ability or deep range like Caitlin and they never really will.

Juju will be at 2/3 in the NBA and I’m not positive PB might not slide to the 2

But you think Crooks is better than CC & Juju combined, right??
