Nebby Radio Says They Finish Year 5-1?

They might, or they might go 1-5. Nebby hasn't shown much this year. Yes their offense at times has been good. But their defense has been much worse. I do think they will get it turned around eventually, but a team like Iowa is a tough match up for them. We are much more physical and more defensively disciplined. None of their supposed great athletes have done anything against us in the past. I won't feel confident about any game until it's over, but we have a lot of games between now and Nebraska against a lot better teams. If Nebraska beats Michigan State and gives a vastly overrated Ohio State team trouble, then I will be more nervous. But up until now, all they have done is beat a bottom dwelling Minnesota team. That's not enough to make anybody scared.

I see may 2 or 3 wins left. B/C, Illinois, and maybe Michigan State. Just don't see beating Iowa or OSU. I don't think OSU are world beaters, and I actually think Iowa is better, but our D sucks. You can only rely on an O for so long, and I think OSU will just score way too many points, and Iowa will probably hold our O down, and be able to score against our D.

Purdue is the one to be more worried about. Their offense is hitting on all cylinders right now and is the best offense Iowa will face this year.
Yep, a very dangerous pass attack, running game is emerging, and Rondale Moore is starting to make a strong case for Big Ten POY. Purdue's defense is vulnerable though... in the absence of bad weather conditions, Iowa should be able to score around 30 (or more) IMO.... which makes the Purdue O vs Iowa D the deciding match-up.

Husker fan here, I disagree with this. 4-2 at the best IMO. Ohio State and Iowa being those two losses. I have been very impressed with the Hawkeyes this year. Hope that you guys can represent the west this year.

Thank God you have an alias, that's Husker blasphemy!

Lose to tOSU. Interesting...
that's a pretty gross misrepresentation.

Listening to Nick Bahe on Big Red Overreaction after the game, he had nothing but respect and good things to say about Iowa and how good they look this year. He won't predict a win for the Huskers in that game.

Keep trying to drive that narrative. You're literally spinning fake news to Iowa fans in hopes that they will believe what you say without verifying it in order to create a negative emotional response toward Nebraska.

Agree. Just don't want to let it be said and have people believe that the reasonable Husker fans and media don't see what Iowa is doing and respect it. We do. Iowa is probably the best team in the West right now and will get a chance to prove it the next two weeks.

The only thing that is surprising is they didn't predict 6-0!!

I was confident that they'd beat Minnesota. I'm also confident that they'll beat Bethune Cookman and Illinois.

I have trouble seeing them get past MSU ... and they really don't have a prayer against EITHER OSU or Iowa. Give them a windy day (like the Maryland vs Iowa game) .... defending their running game isn't really a problem (they still have a lot of development to do in the trenches) ... and their D still is mediocre at best.

Under ideal weather conditions ... when BOTH their passing and rushing game are on the table ... then I can see them being a bit more difficult to defend. However, even then, it's still quite surmountable. Their FR QB still plays like a FR ... albeit, a pretty talented one.

Ya ya ya....when pigs fly. They're back, they've turned the corner...........its all ya hear now.

PHUCK NEBRASKA!!!!!!!

They are so weak its hilarious they think that, our lines will kill them...cant wait to sack that freshman 7 times, hes a loser as a starting QB and it WILL NOT get better for him.....not at all.

I hate those pukes.

Zac Duvall will be fired in 2 years....

They are weak. Riley would have won probably 3 games already.

I could see them winning three more - BC, Illini, and MSU. They can outscore MSU as MSU’s O is not good. They could beat Illini or Illini could beat them depending on how their O plays and if Nebraska can get any stops. I’d say 3-9 at best, maybe 4-8.

No way they win at tOSU after losing to Purdue with a bye to boot. That could get real ugly! No win at Iowa either as they can’t cover our tight ends and the lines are too stout for them on both sides of the ball. KF and Brian now love to put the beatdown on the Huskers and it will happen again this year.
