Yep, NE has officially surpassed Iowa. It’s men against boys tonight, and it ain’t getting any better for Iowa football going forward. NE is just a better program in every respect at this point. And that’s embarrassing.

Nebby has passed us and won’t look back. Their admin understands the need for NIL MUCH better than Iowa administration. We are a continued also-ran, Nebby is rising and only get better with young players, recruiting and aggressive transfer portal.
I agree with the trajectory. Iowa has owned this series the past decade. Nebraska is heading in a much better direction now though.
Based on the fact that they’re kicking our ass all over Kinnick, they routinely recruit better, they have a much better coach, they’re on a clear upward trajectory under Rhule, and they have much better NIL support. Much more than just one game. In a nutshell, they’ve struck out on several head coaches and finally found a good one. That was the missing ingredient for them. Now they have it, and he’s coaching circles around our dinosaur.
It’s Cosplay Mahomes Vs the Janitor from Sam’s Club and it’s 10-0 at half. A legit teams winning by more than that.

We have big time problems because we are back to a QB, this one can actually throw the ball pretty well, but a QB who cant run and take some pressure off of Kaleb.
Why Lester isnt throwing it wide and often is beyond me after our very first series when Nebby was putting 9 in the box. Throw it your least covered receiver and see if they can break a tackle and make a big play
They’ve surpassed Iowa. It’s clear to anyone paying attention. I don’t know if that means they’re “back”. Surpassing Iowa isn’t saying much at this point, as Iowa has fallen a lower division Big Ten program.

I do think NE has surpassed Iowa in the big picture, but:
1. I agree that I’m a little bitch for pissing and moaning while NE dominated the first half
and
2. The Hawks deserve credit for a DRAMATICALLY better effort in the 2nd half than the first. Much better hustle, better tackling, better offensive play, better play-calling, and better special teams play. Credit where it’s due. We still got out-gained by a mile, but a fortunate break on the muffed punt, a huge catch and run by KJ, a timely strip sack, and a clutch FG got it done. Hats off to the Hawks for being opportunistic and getting an unlikely W.
Nebraska is 6-6 and going to their first bowl game since the Obama administration. Iowa has win 9 of the last 10 over Nebraska and win 8 games every year since nebraskas last bowl game.
