True....though the irony of Husker fans coming here and lecturing us on free speech, slander, etc., and spewing various forms of both vulgar and more sanitized hate in thread after thread is hard to ignore. You know, since they come from a board where anyone who has the audacity to not end every sentence with "...and on the seventh day, god created husker football" is immediately banned.
So here's hoping our red visitors are enjoying the freedoms we take for granted here, that are completely foreign concepts on their home planet.

There has been maybe 1-2 Husker fans that have even approximated "reason." The rest have been the typical Nebraska a-holes who still think Nebraska matters. Their arrogance is startling and completely unsubstantiated.
I got banned tonight for posting this. Those mods are complete tools.

From reading the posts on your board this past week I have noticed something much different than any other message board I've visited recently.
Many of your fans write and say things as if they are personally responsible for the tradition and success that Nebraska has historically experienced. Sort of a "tough guy" attitude, with a condescending and otherwise arrogant tone to the posts.
Being a passionate and proud fan is something that many fan bases have. But with you guys, your write these posts and say these things as if you have been the ones in the weight room, in the film room, on the practice field...as if you are the ones putting the blood, sweat and tears into the outcomes. It's kind of sad, especially when 18-22 year old kids are putting forth the effort, only to see some fans talking crap, saying that Iowa needs to earn their respect (why would Iowa football players have to earn anything from your fans?), Iowa is the little brother, etc....
So...in conclusion, I ask all of you, what kind of a grown man does it take to pump up his chest, talk trash and act entitled to the success and well earned achievements of other 18-22 year old men. Is it restricted to those among you that wear another man's jersey? (by the way, Google that, it's not cool, and you are getting laughed at).

Yet we own Iowa during these down years. And since we can't bring up anything that the programs have historically done without people going ape-shit - Iowa is 45-30 since 2010 and Nebraska is 52-26. This kind of talk can go round & round. It's not very enlightening. Nebraska will have to play a hell of a game to win, in my opinion. But we can win. The line would look a little different if there was some clear-cut advantage for Iowa here. That's not cocky. That's fact.
