One of the reasons I come to a site like this is to avoid political punching. Sports is one of the last things that people with polarized worldviews can actually come together and agree on something. Seeing somebody who I disagree with entirely politically cheering for the Hawks is my one hope for humanity.

I'm a proud liberal and union member for over 35 yrs. But one thing about this site is we can all come together as Hawk fans. This season has been great for every Hawk fan and winning the next 3 games, going into the Big 10 championship game, would be the ultimate Hawk high.
