Lose the battle... win the war?
Yes, the Iowa women came back from Bloomington with an L, but there were numerous reasons for positivity.
1) Caitlin Clark played well... and could play better. The points and playmaking were there. In a rematch, it would really come down to all of it being done in a more efficient manner + limiting turnovers. And, honestly, is Queen C ever someone we need to worry about?
2) Monika Czinano ain't putting up 6 again. Yes, Mackenzie Holmes is not the easiest matchup, and she might block some shots, but Monika also got a pretty brutal road whistle.
