It's is a glimmer of hope to see programs adding wrestling. The sport is booming in Southwest Missouri, evidenced by Blake Stauffer (Neosho) of Arizona State. I know he beat Burak in wrestle backs. I will be a booster, so we need Iowa wrestlers to fill the program. Please spread the word. Also looking for a Head Coach.

That's good news. More schools have added programs than cut them in the last several years for sure. The struggle to hold on to them at D1 overshadows that but a lot of work is being done at the other levels.

Does Upper Iowa have wrestling? Not many D2 schools (comparative to NAIA and D3) surrounding Iowa. Could be nice gap filler for them

Yep, they're the only D2 in Iowa.
