Now the National Weather Service is calling for a mix of rain and snow in the morning, turning to snow after 3pm. I hope the coaches put our 'snow package' together this week.

Who does playing in the snow hurt worse?

I think Iowa showed a lot this weekend regarding what inclement weather can look like in the Iowa offense.

However, aaddingmoisture to the equation is quite a bit different

One thing to keep in mind is McSorley is not a very big guy and a wet ball may not be as easily dealt with for him as it will be for Nate Stanley and his bear paws

I have to think that elusiveness losses some of its edge on a wet surface. Advantage Iowa.

Nate Stanley and his bear paws

I love Stanley but I'm not so sure about his "bear paws." He's had several WTF moments with the ball.

Supposed to be close to 50 degrees. Unless the temp takes a drastic fall, it’s gonna just be wet.

1. Hawkster, not cool.

2. If this game turns in to a "phone booth" game we will beat them by 10+.
I would have to agree, as I think we can dominate, or at least win, at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
We didn't play to bad on the ice skating rink in the bowl game, but snow can always make things interesting.

Yeah, I see the high is supposed to be 48, but they are saying rain and snow. Under those circumstances the snow may not stick on their real grass, but it could make things messy.

What was the last hawk game that snowed? Seems like we've played cold games but no snow in at least a few seasons.

I'm just guessing but Purdue during 2015? I am pretty sure there was a lot of snow on the ground, but can't recall if any was falling DURING the game or not?

Here is the update that just came out. It's already changed slightly.
"Rain and snow likely, mainly after 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 47. Chance of precipitation is 60%."

Yes, it is a ways out yet and it could change more. I just found it interesting and wondered if the coaches would gameplan differently for that possibility.

Here's hoping they don't go with white on white uniforms... We'll just have to chase around the blue stripe with the brown blob.

Considering they’re playing at home they won’t be wearing all white.

Who cares as long as the wind isn't blowing 40 mph and no lightning in the area. Its football...they've been playing football outside for 100s of years in inclement weather. Both teams will play in it as far as I know.
