The hospital has been working on multiple clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine, including one that is testing whether the drug can prevent COVID-19 infections in first responders who work with coronavirus patients. The first responder clinical trial was trumpeted by Trump administration officials early in the pandemic.

You run enough "trials" using the same meds, and one of them eventually will find something works!!!!

Interesting, how the "no meds" group had an average age 6 years higher than any of the treatment groups....

Other comparisons with significant p-values between the groups:

• Age
• # of cases w/ Age <65 years

In their multivariate analysis, Age ALSO has the highest odds ratios for significance - MORE than any of the treatments.


Seems like a kind of significant detail left out here.
