I just did this weekend. I planted a memorial tree for my military best friend who didn't come back from Iraq with me. His family planted about 8 trees Saturday.

Sorry, but those things cannot sequester fossil fuel emissions for millions of years.

100 or so, then they die and release the carbon back into the air.

if you want to re-sequester carbon you took out of 100M year old repositories, you need to figure out a way to get them back underground and out of the ecosystem, Cletus.
