There are going to be a lot of players that are way under the radar. Like completely off the radar... Plenty of talent did not get to play much, nor go to camps.

It is worth looking into a lot of these guys, AND keeping tabs on them for the future. They could be good portal gets down the road.

Lots of non-P5 schools will have some really, really good players in the next couple of years... Not only because of the lack of exposure from limited play & missing camps, like Marshall Howe, but also because of the covid year limiting scholarships, like the one Riley Moss will be using.

KF & Co would be very wise to keep searching for these kids, finding who might be the right fit for our culture, building relationships, and keeping an eye on their progression.... Then snag them in a couple of years via the transfer portal!!!

Marshall must have something between the ears with the schools of interest.

What makes you think KOK, BF or KF can identify a good QB?
Banks, Tate were good. Stanzi was Alright if he did not throw too many pick 6. Stanley was ok at best for all 3 of his playing years.

Everyone understands that our current QB situation is not good. But Stanzi, Rudock, Beathard, and Stanley have all been on NFL rosters. So, yes, they can identify good QBs

Or he could be coming in as a walk-on to provide depth, seeing if can compete at this level and if not, move onto a lower division down the road. You know those things do happen every year at every program.

Only HR would try to argue that the 2nd and 3rd winningest QBs in school history, including one who is 2nd in school history in career passing yards and TDs, were "alright" and "ok at best"

Do you guys hear some of the shit that comes out of your mouths?

Well, Petras was rated a 4* and May is rated a 4* so if KOK, BF and KF are wrong at identifying a good QB, so are people rating them. ;)

Meanwhile Nebbie gets two P5 QB’s in the portal, one of them was a starter at Texas. Wisconsin talking to Caleb Williams in the portal. And we have Petras and Padilla as realistic options, and now looking at an undersized QB with no power 5 offers… better bring him on board
If kf doesn't find a portal QB, you really have to question his raise.

Hey we're getting 2 qbs in this class! They might not have 1 p5 offer, but we're getting 2 :)

You guys watch his film? It’s actually really impressive. Can’t believe he has no offers at all other than Davidson

Any quarterback with an offer to play at Davidson is worth a hard look.
for those that might wrongly think that you are being sarcastic-- Davidson recruited and played Stephen Curry who is arguably the best ever player at long distance ball throwing.

What are you, like 12? I know your just one of the many idiots who fun their mouths in every thread, but you obviously haven’t been watching Iowa football long, and have little to no knowledge about Iowa’s offensive philosophy!

Why would an outstanding QB transfer to Iowa just to hand the ball off to a good running game?

The truth as usual is in the middle. Those QBs listed were better than OK, they were good. At some point we are going to get an offensive minded coach and they will have QBs that crush our current QB records. They might not win more games, but our offensive statistics will get blown by.

As far as this kid goes, in 23 years Iowa has had walk on QBs attempt 2 total passes. Best of luck kid.

I am sure you are aware that Iowa has had a QB that made an all conference team more recently than Wisconsin.
