New poll shows Trump now upside down on economy, near inverse of first term polling . . .

Americans are unimpressed by Trump’s economic stewardship, a new CNN poll finds. The poll, conducted by SSRS, has 56 percent of the public disapproving of his handling of the economy and 44 percent approving. Those are basically inverted from the perceptions that existed at the end of Trump’s first term. Trump’s job approval rating is at 45 percent approve, 54 percent disapprove, which is also not particularly great but actually somewhat in line with where he was in March 2017. The thing to remember is that Trump is, ostensibly, still in a bit of a honeymoon period here. Yes, the stock market has tanked, and if it turns around that could certainly improve his numbers. But he is also benefiting from his diehard voters giving him the benefit of the doubt. The Wall Street Journal, for example, has a piece today squarely on the Trump voters who are downplaying the hits he has delivered to their 401(k)s.

Who is approving of his economy so far? He is tanking the market and costing jobs. Dude is either a Putin puppet intentionally smoking our market or he's an incompetent moron who has zero understanding of tariffs.

Despite tanking the economy in his first term, despite bankrupting 6 companies, despite all of his failures with economic policy and the first trade war he always polled higher on handling the economy during the election. This despite Democrats waving frantically trying to show why he sucks on the economy. Now, people are surprised to find out that not only does he really suck on the economy, he REALLY sucks with the economy. He sucks so bad, to say he's doing it intentionally to help further the goals of Russia is actually probably a better guess than just saying he is too stupid to know better. It's probably both.

I think there are a lot of trump supporters who will always support him - even when it costs them personally - for the pure reason of "owning the libs". These are the people that buy DJT bibles and have "FVCK JOE BIDEN" bumper stickers on their cars. They're still posting copied/pasted memes about all the doge "savings" even then they list things that have been disproven and taken off the official "list" of savings. They're glad they're finally able to go back to calling people "r*tard*d" and "f*ggots". The loss of their retirement/investments are just the price they have to pay - their "sacrifice" for the country.

War in Ukraine: Still happening
Price of eggs: increased since trump took over
Price of gas: increased since trump took over
Price of groceries: still high
Stock Market: dropping everyday
Jobs report: less than desirable
Unemployment: on the uptick
GDP: -2.6

Wonder why his approval ratings are dropping?

Why are you stupid libs always focusing on the bad stuff? Have you losers already forgotten about the Gulf of America, saving our cherished plastic straws, and pardoning the January 6 hostages?

Millions of Americans think being on a reality TV show makes you some kind of genius worth listening to. Nothing else in his life has ever shown him to be anything but a huckster.

I always argued that any period of economic stability during his first term was simply the result of inheriting the successes of the previous administration. He did nothing to earn a reputation as a strong economic president. It’s baffling that so many of his supporters viewed him as a great businessman, given how many of his ventures went bankrupt—including a casino. How does someone fail to make money with a casino? You’d have to be either completely incompetent or corrupt for that to happen.

He did have some non-morons in his first administration. Some actual experts with governing expertise that reined in his worst impulses.

Now, it's only bootlicks, lackeys, sycophants and psychos.

And it is showing, bigly.

Shockingly, all those non-incompetents from his first term call him a moron.
