New Strength Coach

Not hating on Alex but I was thinking there was going to be a picture of a dude that looks like the Incredible Hulk saying - welcome Bruce Banner - new strength training coach.
Lol same. My first thought was that’s the skinniest strength coach I’ve ever seen. Maybe yoga is the focus for the new S&C regime lol

Some of the strongest guys I’ve met have been a lot stronger than they’ve looked including some of the strongest guys of all time. And some of the better strength coaches and trainers I’ve met have been a lot stronger than they look too.
Ed Coan looked massively strong but not that strong for example lol. Lamar Gant deadlifted high 600s at 132, looked strong but not that strong lol.

It seems as though strength coaches are different from what we used to think of. They are much more creative and do a lot of different things and have different approaches from what they had years ago. The CrossFit era has brought changes to strength coaching also.

They do things like have the guys pick up handfuls of rice from a bucket for a minute or swing a sledge hammer onto a tire for 30 seconds at a time order push ups on a 30 pound med ball etc.

When I see a strength coach who is all muscled up, I look for another option.
