Did you see Josh Shapiro? He actually said Biden did not perform as good as he could have. In other words, he threw his hat in ring. I think we are looking at Newsom, Shapiro, Whitmer as top contenders but give nod to later too due to swing states. Biggest challenge is what to do with Harris who a contingent will say deserves it if he steps down….
I am predicting Whitmer-Warnock ticket. Max out the youth and women voter turnout, shore up the African American vote maybe upset at Harris snub, increase chances at GA/MI wins.

Heck, even a broken Biden is better than Trump. But we need a winning team that's good on the important issues. That seems to be Newsom more than any others who have been mentioned.
Trump will blame him for the California fires, and the MAGAs will eat it up. But there may still be enough sane Americans to avert the looming Trump disaster.
Newsome looks presidential but that is about as far as it goes. He has countless problems in his own state that he can't handle, let alone the country.

We are lucky that there are a number of choices and combinations.
We’re also lucky that someone in the WH orchestrated this early debate and that last night’s train wreck happened in June and not in September or October.

It’s weird how they constantly project their bullshit onto us. Democrats want what’s best for the country. Republicans unknowingly want what’s best for Trump and the wealthy. Not themselves. If Trump wins, he won’t be lowering costs on anything or helping the middle class at all. Just like the first time.

I am on the record here saying the Democrats have screwed up election strategy for years. Hillary should have been the candidate in 2008 with Obama as her VP. Grooming him for the job. It made sense. He’d be president today if the DNC had any damn foresight. I agree that the plan should have been Biden as a one term guy with his VP as his replacement. Unfortunately they picked Kamala who was disliked by people like yourself on day 1. It doesn’t make our populace smart.
