With so much speculation that next years starting center isn’t currently on the team, does anyone have any insight on the following players?
1. Josh Cohen - Saint Francis PA.
2. Drew, Pember, UNC Asheville.
3. Aziz Bandaogo, Utah Valley.
4. Clarence Daniels, New Hampshire.
5. Jacob Polakovich, southern Indiana.
6. Adrian Nelson, Youngstown State.
7. Bryant Sebubague, Tulsa.
8. Grant Nelson, North Dakota State.

Thanks for researching some names, but I don't have any insight on any of them. Getting a transfer, who is looking for a change or is unhappy, from another big school also is a possibility, but I don't have ideas. We did just get a QB from UM, so maybe Dickenson isn't a ridiculous idea. He would definitely fit Fran's scheme, and Iowa has shown that big men can have great years as a Hawkeye.

Given players' penchant to shun Iowa because they don't want to help Iowa win a got dam *kicks chair and flips table* national f***ing championship........................I would guess that the starting center is either currently on the team...............or is going to be vastly underwhelming, or unprepared for his role (if we recruited a Center out of HS. I genuinely don't know because why would I pay attention to recruiting these days)

I think the Ogundele-Mulvey tag team could work if they both improve over the summer. We really haven't seen extended minutes by either of them. Mulvey runs the floor well and just needs a few pounda and some time in the weight room. As a friend once said he was told by the Creighton coach 50+ years ago "you can't coach 6'11".

People love to take shots at him. I’ve honestly been impressed with his play and energy every time he has played. If he could ever get healthy and in shape I think he would be great. Big if, I know.

I think Dickenson's lack of progress has a lot to do with the coaching at UM. I haven't been impressed with the current coaching, but then Beilein was a great college BB coach.

I’ve seen him. Good prospect but it’s a stretch to think he’s ready for starting center in the Big Ten as a freshman. Let him develop a bit and get much stronger.

My take is he is Josh is too heavy and supposedly had long covid....he seems like a good young man, just not
suited to run up and down the court, which is a requirement for a scholarship.

Maybe Swarm will help, but I'm used to Fran donating more to the portal than he pulls in.
