NFL cuts of interest

Thought B Weg would stick, and really thought Tevaun would after the preseason he had.

Tevaun with either get picked up on waivers or fall to the Colts practice squad.

All signs are pointing that Henry Krieger-Coble will make the Broncos as an UDFA.

Good to hear. I thought HKC would make a team - good blocker and catches everything. Not the fastest tight end but he will be one of the toughest..

Wow both of those surprise me, especially Rudock.

Rudock will probably get picked up on the practice squad. Maybe HKC also.

There was a Detroit article (you can google it) from this summer that said Rudock was really struggling in practice with accuracy and questioning his arm strength. Surprise there I know! Then he went out and had some solid preseason games but what was that against competition wise? The vast majority of guys that are cut now? That's why preseason stats are meaningless. I think Detroit went like 4-0 in the preseason the year they went 0-16.

NFL coaches are smart. If a guy does not have arm strength or he's not accurate he's not going to make it long term at QB because the windows are so freaking tight and the athletes are the best of the best. Jake typically struggled when the competition was good because of arm strength. He looked much better against lessor opponents. He does many things well but you cannot make up for that God given ability.

I'd be surprised if the Lions don't sign Rudock to the practice squad.

I think Tevaun will get called up this season. Of the 5 WRs the colts have on the active roster, 3 are under 6-feet tall and 4 are under 190 lbs. You are going to need a bigger body to survive special teams play for an entire season.

Smith could also go the CFL route. As a Canadian he is highly desired up there since he would not county against their American cap. Not as much money, but still could have a good career.
