Props to the Hawks. Down 19, under 10 mins in the 2nd with Mackey rockin and the Hawks gave a helluva effort to get back into it and get it to a one possession game. They didn’t fold and deserve a lot of credit for putting a big scare into the Boilers.

Murray, Murray, PMac, Joe, and Perkins need the most minutes. These are the guys that play the hardest on defense. They will provide enough offense. JBo and anyone but CMac off the bench.
Nope. We cut the lead to two with just a few minutes left. At that point it was anybody’s game. I bet you didn’t even watch the game.
I don’t think Larry Scrote or Kelly Pfieffer were going to let that happen. Did you notice how things tightened back up once the score was cut to single digits?

This game seemd over all the way until under 5 in the 2nd half. This is why I love this Iowa team. They showed they have the toughness and determination to find ways to get back into games. If they grow like I expect this season they will be a special team by the end of the season. To go from 13 down to within 2 in just a little of 2 mins is pretty crazy.
If they could have shot tonight they could have won the game without Keegan.
Literally scared the shit out of me. For real there is poop on my couch.
