I lived in PA. Much of central and western PA is a garbage dump. I spent two years in Johnstown. To survive in PA you have to imagine there is someplace worse. Then you leave and realize everywhere is better. Iowa is Atlantis compared to most of PA.
Exactly. This! That's why I think the sign on Gameday is a disgruntled Pennsylvanian feeling sorry for himself because he can't live in Iowa. Woe is me. Win or lose I have to live in Pennsylvania. Give me pity.

Born and raised in PA. I wanted to get out as soon as possible, ( like any other kid in their home town) but, Iowa was the furthest thing from my mind.
As someone sitting in WV leaving for Pitt in an hour, I get a kick out of this response.
