NIT Foul Rules Effected OT

They sure did. I'm undecided on it and although may not have aided our cause in this situation I'm leaning toward liking it

Without them resetting, Bohannon doesn't get fouled with 7 seconds there because it would've put him at the line.

Baer also got his fourth too, which I'm sure affected him on subsequent plays not being able to play with more pressure, just so that they could amp up the foul count to shoot free throws.

I thought the fouls resetting for overtime sucks. It guarantees a foul fest in overtime. I'm not sure I like it resetting at quarters either. The women's game has quarters with resetting of fouls, but I don't recall a reset in overtime. Maybe I just didn't see any women's basketball overtimes this year.

Affected would be more accurate but I'm not a grammar Nazi, so....By the same token because of the rule Iowa got the game to 2 points with a chance to win or tie. I'd say it worked fine.

Yeah sorry but it's a terrible idea that should not be kept.

But hey at least they got to experiment with this in a meaningless NIT game, right NCAA?........
