NIT games on Tuesday

Georgia Tech up 8 on Indiana with 7:53 or so.
Colorado State up 8 on Charleston with 30 seconds left.
Richmond up 3 on Alabama with 8:13 left
Utah up 5 on Boise State nearing halftime.

The 2 (Clemson) and 3 (Alabama) in Iowa's "quadrant", as the board has dubbed it, have both been eliminated. Cal is getting blasted early.

I'd be more concerned about playing a lower seed who had just upset a #1 seed than the #1 seed themselves.

I think it was last year that three #5 seeds were upset in the first round and one of the number #12 seeds went deep into the tourney. Sorry for not looking that up but I don't remember who the advancing 12 seed was.

Basically what this means is that South Dakota can go f*** themselves if they wanna come into Carver and act the try hards like we've already seen so far in the NIT.

They'll hype this up as a statement win in their programs history for sure.

How about no. Gfy's. Just play the game. Let Iowa win so we can start to get our dignity back, and go away. Make the NCAA tournament next year if you want statements.

You're welcome. Everybody moves on.....

This is a tournament for the little guys to show up P5 teams. Gotta want to play.

Hopefully the Iowa players got to see that the lower seeds do some to play so they best come out and play hard or it will be 1 and done for another 1 seed

Of the 8 NIT games that were played yesterday the lower seed won in 6 of them.

One 5 seed beat a 4, not exactly an upset but it gets worse for the 3 seeds who lost all three of their games last night to 6 seeds. An 8 beat a 1 and a 7 beat a 2 seed also.

See he has 1-2 years and then he leaves? How can you build a program if you are always leaving after year 3??

Was the 5 seed Ole Miss over Monmouth (or whoever they played)?

Martin has told his Cal team that he is resigning.
5 year,3.5 mill per year deal from Mizzu is the current rumor.
Good lord, Mizzou is getting desperate. Thats a lot of cash. I guess the Tigers are getting tired of watching their basketball program, as it circles the drain. They wouldn't pay Heath that kind of money, and of course Kim Anderson didn't warrant that kind of check. Maybe their getting serious. Still hearing Crean is their top candidate if he's available.
