I had Penn St as a win. They have 0 margin of error now. Don't see them navigating that. And notice I'm not freaking out. LOL
Yes I had them as a lock to beat Penn State. They are terrible. We have 0 quad 1 wins and had to beat them.
I think we need 4/5 more wins to make the NIT. It's not good and not what we want but this team has some major deficiencies. Rebounding and not having secondary scorers to name a few.
Hope this will be enough to get to a top 3 seed in the NIT and maybe can win a few at home. I can't see us going too far as of right now.

We have 2 quad one wins, Indiana (29) and Utah St. (49). But we just aren't very good. I was so excited to see Ulis, Perkins, Joe T. and their development. They must not have made the strides the coaching staff wanted to see. Bohannon is still out there despite his deficiencies.

Once again, and I do realize you are likely moving your lips while you're reading this. A loss on the road in the B1G conference in double OT doesn't mean that any given team, IA in this case, is a lock.

I’m not throwing in the towel… yet. Making shots help a lot. It’s been a real struggle to shoot over 40% from the field in the last few weeks, and we’re due for some positive regression in that regard. Keegan Murray sitting two thirds of every first half is also something that can and will change. I’ve given up hope that rebounding will improve, however.
I like it. I'll be at 2 home games in February so I guess I'm not either but mentally accepting of it is likely we are toast.
At only the midway point it was ridiculous to say we were a lock last week and it's ridiculous to say we are relegated to the nit tonight. He's a drama queen, lets let the season play out. I think it could happen if Fran goes with the guys who deserve it but that is a pipe dream really
