no B1G games on ESPN after this year?

If you think NBC won't be promoting ND broadcasts during its B!G broadcasts. you are mistaken. Same for promotion of the Big 10 broadcasts during the ND games. NBC payed a crap ton of money for the rights to those games, so they are going to cross promote.
They'll mention the game yes.

Eff ESPN. .they have been trying to destroy the Big ten for years and the lopsided favoritism they have given the sec is now over. They truly did eff around and find out. Broke up the big twelve by stealing Texas and Oklahoma.

Delaney going with FOX but still had ESPN games was genius. It got people used to going to other networks for big games. If he cut ESPN off completely last contract it's a much bigger risk. It's not ESPN or nothing now. This let KW make this minor risk.

Of course they’ll cross-promote, but the B1G will benefit more by having the night game, Upcoming B1G game will be mentioned a dozen times during the ND game and previewed at the half. The ND game will have highlights at the B1G game half and maybe mentioned a few times during the broadcast, but they’ll be more interested in promoting Sunday Night Football than any college games the following week.

This is a very good point that's concerned me too when I heard that the B1G might be cutting all ties with ESPN. Like it or not, at this moment ESPN runs college football, and as strong of a position that the B1G is in, this kind of power play would still be a big gamble. If the SEC continues to have the higher quality FB league, chances are the gap will only widen...
ESPN doesn't run anything right now, they just can't fork over the money to buy the B1G rights, maybe has something to do with $DIS having a new ~$180 million tax bill in Florida now? 😂

Also ESPN can't make anyone look like JV when FOX, CBS and NBC are doing bigger numbers than them. Also, CBS owns 247sports & Verizon owns Rivals.

ESPN doesn't run anything right now,
That's a tad bit disingenuous. They broadcast all CFP/NY6 games (for at least 4 more seasons) and almost all the other bowl games, and fair or not, they're the network the casual fan thinks about when it comes to college football broadcasts and highlight shows. Even if they become a "regional" network due to primarily broadcasting SEC games, based on the past 15 years or so, that's not a bad problem to have.
