Why would you have Brooks travel 8 hours make weight then travel 8 more hours before an important match with Dudley, which is way more important. Dudley will be at home and only have to travel 4 hours. Makes all the sense in the world.
Why? Seriously? The only reason is if Brooks is sick, hurt, or has a personal issue. Everything else is just an excuse.
The reason is: Brooks has already wrestled him twice and won't get another chance against Dudley again before the Big Tens. You might not realize that the wrestlers do wrestle for the team and for themselves first and for the members of this site last.
Ok, guess Iowa is no longer battling the universe and taking on all comers. You know what would be better than Brooks beating Dudley on Sunday? Answer: Brooks beating Jackson on Friday AND Brooks on Sunday.
He already owns a win over Jackson, significantly better result than Jackson loss.
Beating Dudley gets good progress for #2 seed and that should be the goal right now.
Is Nate Jackson at a level that warrants skipping out on wrestling him because you have a tough match two days later? He's ranked seventh, and Brooks has already beaten him.

Let me call the second match up - Brooks circles Brooks. Brooks in on a shot. Brooks elevating Brooks leg. Strong finish. Brooks is making Brooks pay for hanging his head on the mat. Brooks is going to be sore tomorrow.

I agree with champion but could see Booger getting "sick" as he's all talk. I'm looking forward to Kremmer putting it on him under the bright lights if he does step on the mat. I'm also looking forward to the CHA crowd getting to Booger, scarface Mantoya (he will be impressed with a one armed CC beating him) and coach mandy.
