So I don't know much about this ball or anything but this is sort of the thing that bothers me. Whatever the hell it was, she was 19 years old and it was 1999. That's 22 years ago. Someone who was born on the day she did this is graduating from college now.

Can we just give people a break on the stuff they did 22 years ago while still a teenager. She shouldn't even have to apologize for this. At this point she might as well be apologizing for having been 19 once.

Honestly the people who should have to apologize are the people who hunted down crap from 20+ years ago when she was still a teenager and posted it all over the internet to embarrass her. Those are the people who should have to apologize.

I don't understand the morality that makes it ok to try to embarrass people with a past they have long since disconnected from in a time when they where due to young age lacking in wisdom and maturity.

Geez her family is wealthier than I thought. I looked it up and her great great grandfather has a Wikipedia page due to his business activities.
