Forget Shaun Beyer, this guy might be the greatest high school player I've ever seen.

Absolutely unbelievable performance in the 3A semis. 26 carries for 289 yards, he blocked a punt and recovered it for a TD, and started the game with a long passing TD. Has TD runs of 76 and 80 yards against the undefeated, 2nd ranked team in the state.

Kirk and Reese better pull out a grayshirt or do every single thing they can to make sure this guy ends up in Iowa City. How in the hell does ISU not offer a guy like this?

I hope he ends up in Iowa City. He seems like just the type of kid that we have had success with in the past. It would be awesome if he could be our next Sash or Greenwood.

I watched him last week inthe quarterfinals. This kid is the real deal - he makes plays. Iowa needs to amp up the recruitment of him, but not sure if they have any schollies left.

Have watched him for the past few years. Ended up starting as a freshman in the defensive backfield. Has unbelievable athleticism. Can't for the life of me figure out why he hasn't received more interest from people. He missed the camp circuit last summer with an injury which probably cost him. His 10 yard shuttle time was really impressive, but his 40 is not as strong.

Quick correction: he blocked the punt but a teammate recovered for a fumble. Otherwise, spot on. He has over 800 total yards of offense and 12 tds in the quarterfinals and semi-finals combined. If he wasn't pulled at halftime of 2/3 of the games this year his stats would be just stupid. Tough as nails and great, great kid. Agree that he would fit IOWA perfectly. His brother plays at Drake (much bigger) and is a great kid, too. I know he would probably get "2 stars" but would be a Greenwood/Pagel type player. Come on, Kirk!!

How big is he?

Room to fill out or is he a maxed out kid already? Have never seen him

He's a gamer. He's a Josey Jewell type player. Not to brag (of course I am), I was practically the only one that said we should offer the kid, everyone else was saying "walk on". Now he's making big time plays for the 5th ranked (at the moment) team in the country. :)

I can definitely see this kid playing safety or fullback in D1. Maybe a little short for LB.

I believe he is listed as 5' 11" & 195.

That ks to whoever posted the video.
Going to be tough for him to get a D1 scholarship offer with his apparent measurables.

. Maybe a walk on and earn it but probably like the Boerm and Hadecheck kids. Not quite there and better off admitting it now and be a bigger fish in a smaller pond instead of a minnow in the ocean. Park ego and enjoy playing somewhere.

Probably some (small) money from UNI/W Illinois or good offer from Upper Iowa/NWMSU/Winona

25 carries for 285 yards and four touchdowns against #2 WD. Blocked a punt. Yep walk on.
