And this is why I hate the GOP. They would love to waste time on Hunter Biden instead of fixing important things that are broken. If the GOP takes the House or Senate, the spending spree is over. They need to look at building a framework for 2024. It's pretty obvious Hunter has been influence peddling, and kicking back money to the Big Guy. BFD. Nothing is going to happen to Hunter, and nothing is going to happen to Joe. Not in 2023, not ever.
This was a good post until you went goofy. You guys need to decide if Joe is sleepy, or sits atop a criminal enterprise like a mob boss.
Hearings about Hunter would be profitable for Fox, and allow the knuckle draggers to get their fix, the suburban women who might give the House to Republicans in 2022 will be repulsed.

You took a leap of logic when you didn't need to. Using Joe's position for influence and gain doesn't mean Joe is some mastermind. It's pretty clear from Hunter's partner, etc., that Joe was or is getting money from the Chinese.

All that said, who cares? Pursuing Hunter is a exercise in futility.

Where is the evidence of Joe receiving money from China? I have seen it reported but never proven.

I could ask the same of them Dems.

how is the taxing of the rich going?

is there really a plan to make healthcare cheaper, cost shifting doesn’t count.

obviously the Dems are not making gas cheaper.

what legislation was brought up for a vote to lower the number of guns on the street that the Republicans stopped ?

when you control the White House and both the house and senate I think we deserved more. He couldn’t even pass (did he even introduce?) a tax increase on the super rich.

biden has been a miserable failure. He isn’t trump is the beginning and the end of his entire presidency. Totally worthless.

Gas is getting cheaper. Oh shit. Health care cheaper? No way the Republicans will allow that to happen. Remember they tried to prevent to Affordable Care Act from being enacted. The health care plan the country would revolt if you try to take it away.

It's not enough to say the Republicans are on the wrong side of issues. They don't have the moxy to produce any without lobbies throwing money at them.

The party has purged experienced and knowledgeable members for more than a decade and backfilled with simpleminded, single-issue members, and I have serious doubt the party has talent levels to design, author, and pass complex legislation, like the ACA, or the Civil Rights Act.

I agree....she's fair game. So is Hunter if he benefited from Dad's influence.

Peoples position on this is influenced heavily by politics.

If that’s the standard, you’ll denounce the trump kids l, and by default their dad, right? (Tbh I am working under the premise you support trump. If that premise is invalid, sorry).

And when it comes to light Joe is way more in china's back pocket than any of us would like, what will be your response?

I Was in institutional New York real estate development for 15 years. Open secret trump is mobbed up and takes dirty Russian money. We made jokes in meetings in front of Alan Weisselberg. It has come to light since he went into politics. No one cares.

so is the problem that the money comes from China and not white people? Or that it’s Joe and not Donald?

You’re working off a premise “when it comes to light” while ignoring what has already been exposed ad nauseum.

Yes. Didn’t support Trump.

There should be one standard regardless of political affiliation.

anyone who built anything in New York in the 80s was paying the mafia and let’s not forget the man owned casinos in Atlantic City.. This isn’t new information. Google is your friend here.

if your argument is that developing real estate in those places and at that point in history doesn’t mean you’re connected, then you simply don’t understand the history of real estate development.

As far as Russian money, again, google is your friend. Junior showed up at a fair amount of meetings with a 30k foot perspective of things.. He was publicly and privately admitting he gets great terms for capital from Deutsche Bank and Russia. His own quotes from the pre-campaign days are available online for you.

Donald trump didn’t come out of nowhere to a lot of us. Even the apprentice wasn’t his coming out party. He’s been a figure in our community since way before national cable news channels. We weren’t impressed then either. Somehow he’s convinced all of you he isn’t a con man because you won’t use google.

ETA: I used broad “you” statements, and it basically is directed at anyone who think Trump is/was good/not a con-man. Not you personally unless it applies, and certainly not all of HROT or the Wrestling side.

So am I supposed to assume Trump was on the take from Italians? You distinguished he got gis money from "white" people.

I've said all along Trump operates like a mob boss, this isn't new to anyone. My questions have more to do with the linage of the money.

It’s pretty obvious? No. It’s not, not by any stretch of the imagination. And remember that the laptop that supposedly has this “evidence” is incredibly compromised from not just a chain of custody perspective but the fact that forensics has irrefutably shown it has been accessed by multiple users and been subject to multiple uploads and downloads of data and other information over the years it was supposedly sitting in a blind man’s computer shop and also after the reveal by Guiliani and associates. That’s what is obvious about that whole fairy tale.

If the Bidens are dirty then prosecute them, but nothing on that laptop comes even close to admissible evidence, not to mention a complete inability to illustrate criminality on the part of Joe Biden.

He's not smart enough to be a mob boss. He acts like a mob boss.

it's likely not incriminating unless corroborated. The Republicans are giddy but are simply in retribution mode. Like Benghazi they will have a moment, gloat, fail and rake in campaign dollars (providing they retake the House in 2022).

10% to the Big Guy. Hunter's business partner is on record about it. What level of proof will be good enough for you? You don't have to say, because there will never be enough.

Sure there can be proof enough. Was Hunter’s business partner interviewed by the FBI during their investigation?

Oh, Jeesh, are you really going down that road at this point? Do you really feel the need to get all legal and technical over something that I already said will never happen anyway. You can try to say everything on the laptop has been fabricated, but we all know it's not.

As I previously posted, the GOP is wasting their time. This is a fool's errand. There's no need to rationalize it as if nothing happened though.

The right's enthusiasm for the laptop seems to be typically over the top. I don't obsess over this episode and haven't followed the details. So, I haven't invested any time or interest.

Let's see if there's fire where there's supposed to be smoke. Facts matter. Speculation means nothing.
