Nothing positive about today's game

Usually I'm pretty optimistic, but today was bad all around . Bad coaching, bad play-calling, bad execution, bad pass-blocking, bad coverage by the defensive backs ( less Jackson of course) dropped passes. Nothing really positive that they can take away from today's game. I guess next week's game with Nebraska will come down to who wants it least. Right now I would say Iowa should be The Underdogs going to Lincoln. Really embarrassing effort by the Hawks today, I'm glad I'm just a fan and not a player because I would be truly ashamed had I participated in that. Oh well at least I have a life and some Hobbies, I'm actually passed being irritated with Hawkeye football for this year, but with the crappy finish to the season they should get a winnable bowl game, since they'll be matched with another mediocre team.

Coached scared...they had zero faith in the offense to do anything other than ultra conservative plays, hoping to out-execute the opposition.

Honestly, as bad as it sounds, I wish we didn't already qualify for a bowl game because it's not going to be pretty and I have very little faith in pulling out a win no matter who we play

The offensive line was absolutely terrible as well. Perhaps the worst thing was watching how badly Iowa was outcoached in the second half. Our coaches didn't look like they even belonged on the same field as the Purdue staff.
