It's all theater for the Republicans to avoid comprehensive border and immigration reform. Nikki Haley is running ads now claiming that she will immediately hire 25,000 CBP agents if she is elected president. Sure, how? My Hy-Vee has issues with staffing, how are you going to find 25,000 people to give guns to, and get them to move to some of the most remote parts of the country with their spouse and family members? As the Republicans talk about slashing the federal government, where will the money come from to pay the additional 25,000 CBP agents?

Weird. It’s exactly what Kamala Harris said when Trump did it back in 2018. Then supported Biden doing it. It’s almost as it these politicians just say whatever they think their party wants them to say.
