Did he get hurt today when he went down? Don’t recall seeing him in second half.

It was another wild gunning, with three airballs, bone head day today. Jack's trendline is up but it is jagged.

Coaching improvement. The coaches are much quicker to pull Jack when he's playing poorly than early in the season. Still, three luckiest plays in the years in just the last two games.

Always a chance for a big jump to next season, but I remain a skeptic that Nunge can get it done in the post. He is a Euro big who would rather shoot 3's and go with finesse moves vs. understanding how to use his body to gain space and go up decisively. In his defense, this is really his first full year of playing, so lots of lessons to take into the offseason. I like his game but think Fran has to find somebody who wants to do the dirty work down low like Garza excels at. He needs to flush those bunnies that he misses around the rim.

Nunge played like a deer in headlights last night. He was off balance multiple times missed short shots even from 2 foot and could not draw iron. IMO his problem is he forgets he is nearly 7ft tall and gets in too big of hurry with the ball. He just needs to slow down and gather himself,

I remember one shot he did make (was it the only one?), he looked very clumsy and in slow motion, but got it to go. I was laughing and in jest said "great job Nunge"! Jack has been a solid player though, he's a valuable part of the team.

When he get's inside Jack just needs to slow down a bit and concentrate on using the glass...

agreed. He doesn’t look comfortable at times down low and like last night and last Indiana game goes up as if he is thinking he’s going to get fouled and when it’s not there shot is off. We need Jack to start finishing better around the rim come March. He’s shown in plenty like msu how valuable he can be.

Jack needs to start initiating contact when he has the ball instead of avoiding it. Go up strong with his shot. A miss with the opportunity to draw a foul is a lot better than a falling away/falling down low percentage shot. Free throws can be a great way to get yourself going a bit too

Nunge needs to live in the weight room and at the training table this off season.... so does PMac.... no basketball expert but I can see that much.... PMac has come a long ways in the last year though.... is Josh O our only real Center on the team next year?

He was limping after a hard foul in the first half. Penn State is frustrated and it is not going to end well if they keep it up. Their coach is a little too chippy.

Of the two, I would say Nunge is our only "real" center for next year right now. Josh has shown nothing so far.

If this weren't a free year Ogundele and others would likely be redshirting and you wouldn't see them on the court at all. He isn't going to get much court time because he's playing behind 2 upperclassmen that just happen to be really good players.

Just like Perkins, Ulis, Kris Murray. We really don't know what they can do because they aren't allowed to play much, and they sure aren't the focal points when in.

Fran: Hey you, Freshman guy, you're in for Bohannon.

Freshman: Any instructions for me Coach?

Fran: Yeah, try to be invisible and don't screw shit up until I can get Bohannon a breather.

For the most part he was bad last night. He has shown enough to me that the talent is there and he just needs to become more consistent. Sometime he forces the issue (see Joe T) and gets himself into trouble. Experience helps cure that problem.
