I am so impressed with our staff getting Xavier’s commitment! What they overcame is truly insane. From dealing with the issues that arose in June of 2020, and beating EVERY major program in the country for him is as good of a three year recruitment win as we have ever had! From the very start we were behind in this race, particularly with Ohio State, but perseverance and just outright hard work, effort, and belief won out. And I will put this out there. This staff will get Kadyn Proctor, Kyler Kasper, and Cayden Green. It has always amazed me that people have talked Kirk down about recruiting (amongst so many other things), but can you possibly imagine what it would be if we had a few 4/5* athletes in our state every year like almost every state has that we compete against?!?! Just like making the Big Ten Championship Game, I am so impressed with this program!!
