Can someone enlighten me as to the role of a director of a bank? Is it a paid position, how does one get selected, what do they do ? etc. I live in a small, rural county of around 11,000 people and the bank has been around since the 1930's. I have no idea as to how large of assets they have. Just wondering.TIA
