There's no need to trash Republicans with this thread, at least not for the non-reason stated. Obama, is and has always been an unapologetic socialist. If he had his way the top 1% would pay all the taxes, freebies for most everyone else, and private industry done away with in many areas, in favor of gov't controlled industry. It's fine to think Republicans suck, but to call Obama a Republican is like calling Hitler a peacemaker.

The TPP thing looks a lot like NAFTA which has been a disaster for American jobs. Bill Clinton teamed with the Rs to give us NAFTA and now Obama is teaming with Rs for the TPP. It could be really good for American jobs, but I doubt it.

We should go back to the tax rates of the 1950s. If that makes me a socialist then I'll take the company of Truman and Eisenhower.

Yes they were, yet another way wealth gets redistributed from the labor class to the investor class. Killing these deals, valuing our markets and acting like the alpha we are would be a proper way to reverse that trend, close the wealth gap and rebuild the middle class.

This trade deal is right out of the Reagan playbook, OiT. Remember, the trade deal Reagan couldn't get passed but Bill Clinton did? Kind of like that.
