Disappointing to say the least with the result again this week, but ultimately this looked similar to last week. At this point I just have no idea what Iowa’s identity is as on offense. With what Iowa has coming back on the OL, it is just frustrating that the running game is so bad. The RB group is very, very capable but Iowa just abandoned the run. At the very least, this offense should have the weapons to create great balance and move the ball. Counting a guy in his 2nd start to chuck it 50 times isn’t supposed to be Iowa football.

I am just not buying the perception that Iowa is one of the best at developing OL any more. It isn’t happening. Putting the offense on the back of Petras is inexcusable. He isn’t ready for that - not even close.
