***Official 2024 FSU Football Season Prediction Thread***

We're about 3 weeks away from kick-off. Let's take a break from arguing about politics and discuss what really matters; football!

My prediction for the season is 10-2 with an ACCCG win (11-2) and into the 12-team play off. (Man, I hope I'm wrong on scUM). I like that we have our BC trap game at home, Clemsuck and Florida at home too.

• Oct 12: OFF
• Oct 18: W at Duke (Away)
• Oct 26: L at Miami (FL) (Away)
• Nov 2: W vs. North Carolina (Home)
• Nov 9: L at Notre Dame (Away)
• Nov 16: OFF
• Nov 23: W vs. Charleston Southern (Home)
• Nov 30: W vs. Florida (Home)
• Dec 7: ACC Championship (Neutral Site - Charlotte, NC)

Defense should be salty again….maybe the lb’s remain a question mark.

O-line should be better than the very good one from last year. I’m confident in the rb room. Special teams should be a strong suit.

WR’s and TE will do well as long as D.J. doesn’t turn the ball over too much. That might be difficult…..not sure he finishes the season as starter. I hope I’m wrong. I’ll definitely be cheering for him.

If he’s good, I think we go 11-1 and if he’s a disaster, 8-4 is very possible. It’ll probably be somewhere between there. My heart says 10-2 but my head says 9-3. Gotta go with my heart on this one!

If I absolutely had to bet, I’d say that, but I want to believe they can get the majority of their games against Clemson, Miami, ND, UNC and Florida.
