It's a rare late-afternoon game in Miami Gardens as the Dolphins host the San Francisco 49ers at 4:25 eastern on CBS.

Both teams had very disappointing seasons, entering the game at 6-8. With no playoff hopes, both teams are playing for next year's roster spots and/or pride.

Tua imploded last week with a season's worth of giveaways in one game. For all the talk about Miami's high-powered offense, it's been Miami's defense that has impressed, and Miami's defensive coordinator is reportedly on the market for a head coach job.

This is the last home game of the season for the Dolphins. After today they'll have cold-weather games against Cleveland and the NY Jets.

Weather Report: Sunny, temps in the low 70s, with light winds out of the NE and zero chance of rain.

FINS UP!

This game is going about the way you'd expect a game between two 6-8 teams would go....

Fins up 16-10 five minutes into the 3rd.

Campbell & Kohou save the Dolphins as they defeat the Niners 29-17. Postgame Show 12/22/24

Stephen Ross gave McDufus a game ball yesterday. That very likely means he will be back. I'm sure he'll find some excuse to keep Grier so he can waste another draft and dig us into an even deeper salary cap hole.
