Too bad KC didn’t have a Kimbrel if there own in there in the ninth— we still would have stood a chance.

I wouldn't call 10m for a year "crap"
Kb better step it up or boras is gonna cost him money just like he cost Jake....
Look at what he's made in his career, he was making 657k up until last year. That's crap for being one of best players in the league who isn't fragile and doesn't cry about money like KB.....when he has a much bigger gripe

SIAP - FYI read a blurb, Cubs have chartered a plane to go back to Chicago, leaving later this afternoon.

I wouldn't doubt it. If you quarantined the team for several days in Milwaukee, and then immediately have new positive tests the chances of playing are slim. And, you are best off staying away from a super spreader team like the Cardinals.

Pittsburgh has a series starting Monday in St. Louis wonder if they say no thanks on traveling. If Cards get go ahead Monday they need to play 55 games in 48 days.

Leave it to the Cardinals to find a way to put the screws to the Cubs, some way, some how.

Oh well, Cards are gonna have a lot of games (& DHs) to make up when they recover from the stupidity of not simply following protocols and using a tad bit of common sense - IF the 'hit the casinos while in MIN' story is true.

JHey!

3-run dong to make it 6-0 in the 6th.

(have fun eating Cub dust, Cardinals. keep going out on the towns and causing team-wide outbreaks. gonna be fun watching them burn out after playing all those numerous DHs to catch up)

OT - any Blackhawk fans here?

Might wanna plan on staying awake awhile tonight and into the early hours of the morning [if puck-drop is delayed due to this unending game on right now]. Wonder if the BOS-CAR game will get pushed back to tomorrow morning, or early afternoon. The TB-CBJ game is still going on (about 5 mins into the 5th OT).

Game finally over in TOR and 2nd (TOR location) game pushed back. So the CHI-LVK should start on time.

Heyward and Baez tied for team lead with 9 RBIs.

I know its still (sorta relatively) early, but if the Cubs can just either keep Kimbrel out of games - or only pitch him in spots where he can't kill you - then they could put up a hefty W number this year.

(if the bats and SPs keep producing at the rate they've started the season at)

A couple more insurance runs would be really sweet, boys.

Not necessarily needed, but in case they feel like Kimbrel needs work, the cushion would be appreciated by everyone in your dugout.

JD, on CLE Allen's biffed attempt to finish the DP, allowing Rizz to get to 2nd on the error: "Works better if you open the glove".
