lol still trying to make that argument after watching the tournament? I would say B10 teams probably would struggle in the MVC and Summit league from what we saw the last few weeks.
After Suggs breaks his nose and Timme sprains an ankle, lets see how good they are
We played against that same D when the UCLA HC was at Cincy
Why stop there? What if the whole team was hurt? I bet they wouldn't be as good!
Because you know damn well MSU, Purdue, etc would be fouling them hard

when you play in a shitty conference, you don't have close games & you can rest your starters
if they played in the B1G, they would have close & VERY PHYSICAL games and their starters would have had to play more minutes

Glad I’m not the only one thinking this...these arguments are insane. It’s the equivalent of “gosh what if the derecho would have only been 50 mph winds? It wouldn’t have been nearly as damaging!”
the zags are good end of story, they would have rolled the BIG. Period.
And after the tourney showing we had, we don’t have much room to talk as a conference
1980 and 1987 could have been National Championship teams
But Ronnie got hurt in the 1980 Final 4 game
And we blew an 18 point, 2nd have lead in 1987
The B10 was insanely overrated this year, it was not a tough conference. The tournament left no doubt about that. Gonzaga would name their score almost every game just like they did against us.
yes, they are good, but no, they would not have rolled thru the B1G
and yes, they benefitted from not playing 23 games in the B1G but instead playing in a shitty conference

Ive told this story before, but I was 14. At half I had a heavy make out session with my "gf". I got my my first case of blue balls. That collapse was painfull in everyway possible. Brutal.

Those games weren’t over with 8 mins left in the first half. Gonzaga was on cruise control from then on.
